COVID Class Rules
OKC has put the following procedures in place for all members and students:
-
Class sizes are limited to max 7 dogs, 10 people (including instructor)
-
Guests/observers not allowed in the club at this time.
-
Do not attend class if you, people in your household, or other people that you have had recent extended physical contact with have COVID (or other easily communicable illness) symptoms.
-
Masks must be worn over your nose and mouth (simultaneously) while you are in the building.
-
Everyone must wash or sanitize their hands when entering the building.
-
Maintain distance from your classmates as much as possible.
-
Crate floors and handles must be sanitized before you leave
-
All of your belongings must be placed in your crate bin, instructor will switch out crate bins and sanitize them between classes
Agility specific rules:
-
Do not touch equipment, allow the instructor and designated helpers to set courses and bars.
-
Upon arrival for class, please immediately sign in, then bring in your bag/bed, bring in your dog last.
-
Please remain seated next to your crate when you are not in-ring or exercising your dog.
-
Be ready for your turn in the ring, everyone gets more ring time if you are ready to walk into the ring when it is your turn!
-
No talking during class, unless you are asking the instructor a question or working with your dog. The acoustics in the building are not great (and have gotten worse), and it is extremely challenging to communicate with these issues and through masks.
