TRIALS

At Olean Kennel Club, trials are where training, teamwork, and the joy of working with dogs come to life. By hosting trials, we create opportunities for dogs and handlers to test their skills, celebrate their progress, and enjoy the thrill of the sport in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Dog trials are organized events where teams put their training into action and are evaluated under the rules of the sport. For some, trials are about earning titles and reaching new goals. For others, they are about having fun, building confidence, and enjoying the experience of doing something exciting with their dog. No matter the goal, trials showcase the incredible bond between dogs and their handlers and highlight just how much dogs are capable of when given the chance to learn and shine.

Hosting trials is an important part of Olean Kennel Club’s mission. These events allow us to promote responsible dog ownership, celebrate canine athleticism and talent, and provide meaningful opportunities for learning, achievement, and community connection. They also bring together exhibitors, volunteers, spectators, and dog lovers from across the region, strengthening the local dog community and creating memorable experiences for everyone involved.

Our trials are powered by dedicated club members who work hard behind the scenes to make each event welcoming, organized, and rewarding. Whether you are stepping into the ring for the first time, chasing a new title, volunteering at an event, or cheering from the sidelines, OKC trials are a chance to be part of something special—a community that believes in dogs, in teamwork, and in the fun of the journey.
